Post-doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of Porto University (FPCEUP), Portugal, with a grant from the FCT (Portuguese Science Foundation). He is a fellow researcher at Birkbeck University of London and at the University of Seville. He’s conducting a transcultural study about prospective and current LGBT parenting, namely its contextual and psychological determinants. He is a part-time Professor at Universidade Lusófona do Porto, in the Clinical and Health Psychology Masters’ Program.

He has a Degree in Psychology and a Masters in Cognitive-Behavioral and Systemic Psychotherapy. He is a certified Systemic Family Therapist. He got his PhD from the FPCEUP, with a doctoral thesis about attitudes towards lesbian and gay parenting.
