PhD in "Memory: Language and Society" by the Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia - UESB, adjunct professor of the Centro de Cultura, Linguagens e Tecnologias Aplicadas - CECULT of the Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia - UFRB. Currently postdoctoring in the Instituto de Sociologia of the Universidade do Porto / Faculdade de Letras. He also participates in the study group Memória, Espaços e Culturas - MESCLAS, working mainly on the following themes: memory, culture, postmodernity, ideology, urban space.
