Paula Casaleiro is a researcher of CES. She has a PhD in Sociology by the Universidade de Coimbra and her dissertation was “Justice demands expertise(s). The regulation processes of parental responsibilities” (Ref. SFRH/BD/90228/2012). She participated in several investigation projects funded by the Science and Technology Foundation with special highlight “The Gender of Family Law and Justice - The inequalities and violence gender in the family law transformation and in the decisions of the Family and Children Court”. She is an author and co-author of the following articles and books: (2016) “The Judicial regulation of parental responsibilities: An analysis as of the Theory of Foucault Power”; (2016, with João Pedroso and Patrícia Branco), Juvenile Justice: The law, the court and the (in)visibility of the female crime; (2014) “The power of the law and the power of the feminism: critical review of the theoretical proposal of Carol Smart”, among others.
